OUR COMPANY

Stamp Chimp is an innovative rubber stamp and paper crafting products for crafters of all ages. Stamp Chimp makes creativity fun and easy with coordinating stamps and dies. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with quality products at a reasonable price. Our product development process involves the feedback of avid crafters from across the world to ensure our artwork meets the needs of our most active users.

 

OUR FOUNDING FAMILY

Stamp Chimp was founded by head chimp, Spencer Willis. He is a crafting veteran with over 30 years of hands on experience with calligraphy, paper crafting, rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Spencer and his wife, Michelle have a love for art in all its many genres. From music, to theater, to art, it fills their everyday lives. Their four children are each blessed with creative streaks that manifest themselves in a variety of ways including music composition, acrylic painting and woodworking. It wouldn't be an understatement to say that creativity runs deep with the Willis family. 

 

 

WHY "STAMP CHIMP"?

Chimps and monkeys hold a special place in our hearts. Spencer's favorite animals have long been chimps and monkeys (yes, there is a difference between the two). As a child, he loved movies with chimps because they were smart and silly at the same time. Similarly, Spencer's fun-loving nature and clever sense of humor make him a bit of a silly monkey himself.

When Spencer and his wife started to have children he loved sitting on the floor with them and playing and pretending to be different animals. One of the kids' favorite imitations was his chimp; complete with the waddle, cute little face and their characteristic, "ooh ooh ahh ahh" sounds. The family's love of monkeys and chimps has remained even as the children have grown. In fact, Spencer and his youngest daughter lovingly dub each other 'monkey buddies' as a term of endearment and a symbol of their close bond.
